  • The Western Fair is September 6th-15th.

  • You can buy tickets online at our website here.

  • We have lots of promotions going on this year which make attending the Fair more cost-effective. By purchasing tickets in advance, you can receive a general admission ticket for just $12.00! You can use these tickets with any promotion offered at the gates. We recommend purchasing in advance and attending the Fair Monday – Friday from 3:00PM – 5:00pm to receive $8.00 admission. You will also be given a Bounce Back when you attend the Fair, which gives you access to the Fair on another day, for just $5.00. If you enjoy the rides, we recommend purchasing a SuperPass (General Admission and a Ride all Day bracelet) for $42.00 in advance (including taxes and fees). We are also running a Super Sunday Promo on the final Sunday of Fair, which is a $10.00 admission ticket, and a $30.00 Ride All Day Bracelet.

  • The Fair is a long-standing tradition but is ever-changing. We are proud of its near century-and-a-half history and in that time is has gone through many changes. Buildings and venues have come and gone, shopping exhibitors have fluctuated, agriculture competitions have evolved into expanded agri-food and animal education, the length of the Fair, free entertainment, attractions, midway and music have all expanded.

  • Shoppers Drug Mart will not be selling Fair tickets this year.

  • We will have lots of rides for everyone to enjoy! For a full list of all of the rides we will have at the Fair, please click here.

  • The minimum height to ride alone is 42” and the maximum is 56” for most rides. Some rides allow children 36” to ride with an adult. For a breakdown on which rides this applies to, please visit this page: midway rides and games

  • Western Fair District holds patron safety in the utmost importance and all rides undergo thorough inspection. Inspections are carried out by our midway provider’s own safety inspectors, inspectors from the Provincial Technical Standards and Safety Authority and an independent engineering firm that specializes in ride inspections. These safety practices take place prior to opening day and continue each day of the Fair’s 10-day run to ensure the highest standards and industry best practices are maintained.

  • Unfortunately, there is no Demolition Derby this year. We hope to have the Derby back soon!

  • There are many opportunities through our social media contests and radio contests! Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram and listen to supporting radio stations for more details.

  • Our Midway food vendors will have all your favourites from corn dogs to candy floss! We will be releasing more in-depth details soon, complete with a full list of the food vendors.

  • While the CAP card allows free general admission to the fair, each concertgoer still must pay full price for concert tickets.

  • Unfortunately, there is no Bingo this year. We hope to have Bingo back in the future.

  • Yes – strollers and small wagons are permitted on site.

  • Unfortunately, the racetrack will not be open for parking. There will be plenty of free parking within the Grandstand Parking Lot. We will be posting a map in the coming weeks of the fairgrounds, and we will highlight the areas that are available for parking.

  • We have two separate concert series this year, our 'Ranch Concert Series' and 'Stadium Concert Series.'

  • No. We are excited to announce that we are increasing our indoor with full use of the Agriplex Arena and Pavillion. This will allow for an exciting new layout which makes a full fair experience more accessible for all!

  • The Western Fair is a smoke-free event. It is illegal to smoke or hold lighted tobacco, use an electronic cigarette/vapour product and smoke or vape cannabis on the Western Fairgrounds. Smoking and vaping are permitted outside the fairgrounds – no less than 9 meters from any entrance or barrier fence. This is in accordance with the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017.

  • The Agriplex and Paddock* are open from 3:00PM – 10:00PM Monday – Friday, 11:00AM – 10:00PM on Saturdays and Sundays. *Please note that all buildings close at 9 PM on the final Sunday.

  • Yes.

  • Yes, you can. Please ask for a hand stamp before you leave, and you can re-enter on the same day.

  • Only guide dogs/service animals are permitted within Western Fair District events and facilities where the public is allowed to go. Service animals in training are also allowed on the grounds as long as the animal is under control at all times and clearly identified. Service animals are animals that have been trained to perform tasks that assist people with disabilities such as guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling wheelchairs, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, or performing other special tasks. Please note: a person with a disability can be asked to remove their service animal if the animal is out of control and the animal’s owner does not take effective action to control it. Western Fair District reserves the right to ask the owner/trainer to leave with the service animal if we feel the animal is in distress or poses a direct threat to the health and safety of others

  • No, the promotions are not valid for the concerts, all concert tickets must be purchased separately.

  • On some rides, children must be accompanied by an adult to ensure the child is safe. North American Midway Entertainment requires every rider that occupies a seat on all Midway Attractions to have purchased either the required number of coupons or a Ride All Day bracelet for admission to all rides. In the case whereby a rider that occupies a seat and another guest stands to the side holding the rider, then the standing guest is not required to pay.

  • The Western Fair is one of the largest fair’s in the country, offering a unique mix of shopping, live entertainment, educational venues, food, livestock, and creative arts competitions. The Western Fair provides the opportunity to reach over 150,000 people of diverse ages and interests. We have approximately 400,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space allocated for promoting and selling products or service.   • Western Fair does not provide electric scooters or wheelchairs for rent. We recommend contacting Mobility 1st for rental inquiries.

  • Yes. We are pleased to announce that Mosaic Medical will be on site for the entirety of the Fair to make sure all guests are taken care of!

  • Western Fair is happy to be rolling out our Fair Share School Program for schools in 2024. This school group sale program provides discounted fair admissions, and for every ticket or super pass sold with your specific promo code the school can raise money for programming or equipment. For every General Admission sold through the Fair Share School Program the Western Fair will donate $1 to the school and for every Super Pass (admission plus ride bracelet) the Western Fair will donate $2 to the school.   • Day of Dreams is a special time when children with special needs ages 3 to 18 inclusive, can enjoy the Western Fair at their own pace! The day will include a free lunch, rides, and entertainment. It’s the perfect way to help create lifelong memories for those who might have otherwise missed out! Each registered child with special needs will receive free admission, free access to select children’s midway rides and more!

    Day of Dreams takes place Friday, September 13th from 11am-3pm.

  • The ranch concerts are not sheltered/covered.

  • The Rock N' Ride promotion is only available for the opening weekend concerts and allows you to add a ride-all-day wristband to your advance opening weekend concert ticket for $30+HST.
