VOLUNTEER AT THE FAIR

Volunteers are critical to Western Fair. These essential folks are what make many of our exhibits memorable and engaging. No expertise is required – just a willingness to help your fellow fair fans make the most of their day! Most shifts are two to three hours, and we’ll show you what to do. Sign up solo or with a group! Each volunteer receives a FREE admission ticket to the fair! Learn more about the various opportunities available.

WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

There are always a number of rewarding volunteer opportunities available to which you may offer your skills, time and talents in a way that positively affects the individuals we serve. If you are interested in volunteering with Western Fair District, please start by completing the Volunteer Application Form

The Western Fair Asks That Volunteers:

  • Serve as Western Fair Ambassadors

  • Apply their skills, abilities, and experience in support of the Western Fair’s initiatives.

  • Value all staff, volunteers and guests and recognize the rights of all to be treated with respect and courtesy.

  • Welcome and engage guests when in the public areas of the Western Fair

  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude, and work with integrity and respect.

  • Participate in training and orientation sessions related to the volunteer position.

  • Commit to a minimum of 4 shifts, three to four hours in length.

  • Be a minimum of 14 years of age.

The Western Fair Will Provide Volunteers With:

  • A rewarding and fulfilling experience, opportunities for personal enrichment, and community involvement.

  • Respect, and treat volunteers as valued members of our team.

  • Recognition for your contributions

  • A work environment that is collegial and safe

  • An I.D. badge, and free admission to the Western Fair

  • A confirmation letter or volunteer sign off upon request.
